Kulbacki played for JMU from 2005 to 2007, hitting .343/.392/.552 his first campaign. His sophomore year, he hit .464/.568/.943 with 24 home runs,[1] 75 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 53 games

Colonial Athletic Association Player Of The Year 2006/07

In 2007 he was named to the Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie team and earned the Kevin Nehring Rookie of the Year Award.

Hershey Highschool, JMU, and PA - Hall of Famer

In his senior year at high school, he was named the Keystone Division Player of the Year. Kulbacki was also named to the JMU and PA baseball hall of fames.
